Alkan Construction & Communication Networks played a crucial role in overseeing the managed services of Vodafone Network through a L1 contract. They were entrusted with the responsibility of managing both the active and passive components of the network, as well as Vodafone’s six major MTXs located in various regions across Egypt. Additionally, Alkan efficiently handled over 6000 BTS sites spread throughout Egypt. Alkan operated from five main offices and 35 regional offices strategically placed across all regions to ensure the project's success. Their primary objective was to meet the project’s service level agreements (SLAs) and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs)

Scope of Services

  •        NOC services with 24/7 CM support.
  •        Off-grid Power site operation and maintenance, (Generators PM, CM,  Fueling        
  •        & overhauling / Hybrid Solutions)
  •        On-grid site power management.
  •        Site passive components Periodic Maintenance.
  •        Towers inspection and corrective maintenance.
  •        Sites telecom, access, and transmission preventive and corrective maintenance.
  •        MTXs maintenance and upgrades to fulfill Vodafone Network Expansions
